The Message

Archeosophical magazine since 1972

The Message is a periodical magazine founded in 1972 by Tommaso Palamidessi to keep in touch with Archeosophical supporters. A wide section of the magazine was dedicated to Question & Answer. Following that idea we are starting a periodically updated blog based on Answer and Questions on archeosophical-related subjects. Feel free to submit a Question >>

Q. & A.: Bad question

Q.:You are proposing the Archeosophy as the way to find peace and that philosophic certainty I fail to see. Well, very willingly, if only I had a religious faith that, in fact, I miss. I have been an atheist and sceptic for ten years.

A.: THE WORD "ATHEISM” is only a way of saying. No atheist and at the same time scientist has been able to say why man is structurally perfect and how he managed to come out by himself, by self-determination without the action of an intelligent and omnipotent X- force.

Q. & A.: The school of Archeosophy

Q.: A friend of mine made me see your web site from which I have learnt about the existence of the school of Archeosophy. I’m very curious about it. Could you please tell me more?

A.: THE SCHOOL OF ARCHEOSOPHY was founded by Tommaso Palamidessi on 29th September 1968 and was later notarized as “Associazione Archeosofica”, that is in English “Archeosophical Society”. Its purpose is to find a point of contact between the ascetic methods and the esoteric doctrines of India and Tibet and those of our Christianity.

Q. & A.: Differences between Archeosofica and other Schools

Q.:I’d like you to explain the difference between Tommaso Palamidessi’s foundation, that is Archeosofica, and the many doctrines and initiatic schools that are sometimes talked about in the crime news of the newspapers.

A.: MANY OTHER FRIENDS have been asking the same question and so we are pleased to answer you all. The Truth and the way to achieve It are a unique solution.

Breathing the occult gold

This subject is known by few Initiates. For those who are not acquainted with this word, an Initiate is someone who is introduced by a Master to the Wisdom and to the spiritual experiences of the super sensible worlds. We deem the only valid Initiations to be those starting off to Christ (reflect on the content of the Third Booklet of Archeosofia: The Aims Of The Lotus+Cross Initiatic Order). The other Initiations are symbolic and of dubious soundness. The kingdom of heaven is conquered by force by the strong in Wisdom and Love, its doors are the entrance to the Initiation, but the winner has to prepare himself with the exercises that we call Asceses (moral purification, bilocation or out-of-body experience of one’s soul, remembrance of some past lives, breathing of the vital ether).

Booklet 9 Available: Guide to Abstraction, Concentration and Meditation

ARCHEOSOFICA is pleased to inform you about the issue on the internet of the Booklet “Guide to Abstraction, Concentration and Meditation”. We hope you will find this pubblication very useful. As is our usual way, our exposition will be both theoretical and practical, since meditation means maintaining a constant flow of divine consciousness, a continuous thought turned towards a single object – God.

Q. & A.: Christianity and Archeosophy

Q.: talking about archeosophy I’d like to ask you the following question: what’s the relationship of Christianity and in particular of Catholicism with the Esoteric Sciences and with Archeosophy?

A.: THANKS FOR YOUR INTELLIGENT QUESTION. To answer it I should start giving an explanation of what Christianity, Catholicism, Esoteric Sciences and Archeosophy are. The short space available here doesn’t allow to do that but to a minimal extent.

I’m going to start with Esoteric Sciences: they are the scientific discovery and explanation of some human phenomena such as the faculties of telepathy, divining, clairvoyance, bilocation and out-of-body experience, communication with the dead, hypnosis, remembrance of some past lives, the strength emanating from certain objects (sacred icons, talismans, …), the influences of stars and of the vital energy on the cure of illnesses, prophecy. This kind of discovery and explanation is however reserved for those who can understand.
